Home renovation progress 🙌🏼 The summer holidays are very nearly over and so are the main building works! Still plenty to do in the new extension but the back of the house is now just due the lighting, new kitchen, underfloor heating and floor finishing. The best find so far has to be Oak post at the front of the extension. This was once part of a great Oak from the Wimborne area and is full of character. Shining a light for Leaf 🍃 Two local Mums from Wimborne have joined forces to produce and sell a charity candle to fundraise for the Dorset Blood Cancer charity, Leaf (Leukaemia Educating and Fundraising.) Leaf provides emotional and practical support to patients and families affected by a blood cancer. Natasha Hunt, the Founder of Leaf and I are hoping that between us we can raise enough funds to help keep the charity afloat at this difficult time. The candle is a 20cl (165g) Natural Soy Wax Candle using the 'Relaxing' essential oil fragrance of aromatic and relaxing lavender, clary sage, chamomile and geranium entwine with refreshing notes of bergamot which helps relaxation and sleep.
